Steven Blume

            Steven E. Blume received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at California State University, Northridge in 1981. That same year, he passed the CPA exam and joined the tax department of Ernst and Whinney. During his 4 years there, he handled business and tax matters for many entertainment clients including Fleetwood Mac, and Johnny Carson. After a brief stint with 20 th Century Fox, Mr. Blume joined Hemdale Film Corporation in 1985. During his tenure there, Hemdale produced and financed such films as Terminator, Hoosiers, and back to back Academy Award Best Pictures, Platoon and Last Emperor. In 1989, Mr. Blume became the Sr. Vice President of Finance for Largo Entertainment, a feature film production, financing and distribution joint venture between Larry Gordon and JVC of Japan. While at Largo, Blume helped raise a $75 million bank syndicate lead by Chemical Bank. In 1994 Blume became the CFO and a partner in Solomon International Enterprises, an international television distribution and investment company. While at Solomon, he traveled the world assembling international television assets in Europe, Latin America, and India. From 1997 through 2005, Blume was the CFO of Brillstein-Grey Management, a prestigious talent management company, with television and film production units. The company managed such talent as Brad Pitt, Adam Sandler, Nicolas Cage, Courtney Cox, Dennis Miller, David Spade, Bill Maher, and Lorne Michaels. The company produced such television programs as Politically Incorrect, Just Shoot Me, Newsradio, and Sopranos. Mr. Blume became a founding partner of Content Partners in 2005.
